Richmond Oteng-Baffour popularly known by his stage name Rich Teazy is a Ghanaian singer and songwriter who grew up in the central and western parts of Ghana.
He started his early education at Top Ridge School in the Western Region of Ghana where his interest in music developed as well as getting exposed to different cultures while in the boarding house which accounts for the diversity of his music, he then moved to the central region where he completed both his secondary and tertiary education earning him a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Cape Coast.
Rich Teazy started writing and singing at a younger age to the admiration of teachers, family and friends. While in school he performed at organized shows and parties.
Rich Teazy kept working on his music while in school. He released a couple of singles including Ginger and Slow Buh Sure which got remixed by W.P and El Kay from Nigeria. He went on to release an EP “1TWOONE2” which is available on soundcloud.
He draws much inspiration from Fela Kuti, Osibisa, Akon, and Banky W among others and aspires to impact the world with good music and vibes.
