My Testimony hitmaker and former Central Music Awards Artiste of the year winner, George Perry Atta Mensah a.k a Orkortor Perry has said that he was born with nothing and he’s not afraid to lose everything he has worked for over the years.
Orkortor Perry who is currently vying to be elected as NDC Cape Coast South Constituency Member of Parliament candidate for the 2020 elections was responding to a question as to whether he’s not worried about being politically victimized for the decision he has taken said
“I was born in poverty, I know what it means to be walking to school on an empty stomach, so if I will be victimized or sidelined because I have taken a bold decision to respond to the sufferings of my people, then I don’t care and I’m prepared to lose everything”.
In a recent interview with Amansan Krakye on Radio Central Drive Time Show, the Cape Town Mafia said he was campaigning on three thematic areas that is education, apprenticeship and entrepreneurship.
” My major priority for contesting to be MP is to get my people educated, then help them to learn a trade through coaching and apprenticeship and also assist them to set up their own places of employment thus creating entrepreneurs “.
Politics lately has become a hot cake for those in showbiz as the likes of John Dumelo, Clement Bonney aka Mr. Beautiful, Tracey Boakye, Berlinda Nana Akua Amoah aka MzBel, Alex Kofi Adu aka Agya Koo, etc have all joined the fray of wannabe showbiz politicians in Ghana.
