Rapper Tinny has mounted a strong defence to criticisms that he is arrogant.
According to him, people most often mistake his “swag” for arrogance.
Speaking in an interview with Andy Dosty in an interview on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, the rapper said, people, perceive him to be arrogant because “my swag is different and I brought a different theme altogether in the industry.”
“My product was so different and I still got it. So when people tag me [as] arrogant person… I see it like normal…it’s me that people should talk about, I don’t need to talk about people,” he said.
Born Nii Addo Quaynor, Tinny stressed that he is not arrogant “at all” and explained that people most often admit after meeting him that he is not egotistical as speculated.
The “Makola Kwakwe” rapper strongly believes that people do not know him.
According to him, what people see on TV is totally different from who he is in private life. “…the person is different.”
Asked how he handles fame, the rapper said “I’ve been focused. When you are focused you see things normal.”
Touching on the issue of egos, Tinny advice that one needs a third eye to be able to manage their egos.
