The wife of the vice president of Ghana, Hajia Samira Bawumia has been named as ambassador for World Habitat Humanitarian Foundation and awarded for Global Excellence in leadership, humanitarian and philanthropic activities in Africa and investiture by WHAF. The second lady of Ghana was happy to share this good news with Ghanaians and the world through a Facebook post spotted by ghvibes.net.
She said; ” I am honoured to be named the World Habitat Humanitarian Ambassador and to be awarded for Global Excellence in Leadership, Humanitarian and Philanthropic activities in Africa and Investiture by World Habitat Ambassadors Foundation (WHAF). The World Habitat Ambassadors Foundation (WHAF) is an NGO committed to working towards sustainable development goals and core values in dedication to achieving urban development.

WHAF is working to help people access decent healthy and secure housing through identifying innovative housing policy and practice, promoting these ideas and examples and supporting the exchange and transfer of good practices. WHAF has being working in collaboration with other agencies, organizations, and institutions in Africa, Canada and the United States of America.
