TRANSFERS: Complete List Of Ghanaian Players Who Moved In The Summer Transfer Window

The European summer transfer window shut on August 31st with several players making moves including five time World footballer of the year, Cristiano Ronaldo.

The transfer window has been one of the busiest for Ghanaian players in Europe, with shocking moves which includes Kevin Prince Boateng’s transfer from Eintracht Frankfurt to Sassuolo, Kwadwo Asamoah’s departure from Juventus to Inter and Richmond Boakye Yiadom’s deadline day return to Red Star Belgrade.

ENGLAND

Ghana striker Jordan Ayew joined Crystal Palace from championship side Swansea on a season long loan on transfer deadline day in England.

Andy Yiadom moved from championship side Barnsley to join Reading on a four year deal.

And forward Joe Dodoo joins Blackpool on a season long loan from Scottish giants Rangers.

SPAIN

Patrick Twumasi left Kazakhstan after five years to join Spanish side Deportivo Alaves. He joins from Astana on a four year deal.

Fellow Ghana striker, Raphael Dwamena also moved to La Liga side Levante from Swiss side FC Zurich. Dwamena inked a four year deal with the Valencia based club.

Former Dreams FC midfielder Emmanuel Lomotey has joined Villarreal on a season long loan from lower tier side Cordoba.

Yaw Yeboah switched camp from Manchester City to join CD Numancia in the Segunda B.

Richard Boateng was transferred to Real Oviedo to UD Melila on a two year deal.

Former Genoa midfielder Isaac Coffie joined Sporting Gijon on a two year deal after ten years in Italy. He joined as a free agent.

ITALY

Black Stars returnee Kwadwo Asamoah switched camps in Italy after joining Inter Milan on a free transfer. He joins on a three year deal from Juventus.

Nicholas Opoku joined Udinese on a four-year deal from Club Africain

Kevin Prince Boateng makes a return to Italy after signing a three year deal with Sassuolo.

Ransford Selassie has joined Italian Liga Pro side Alma Juventus Fano on a season long loan from Pescara.

FRANCE

Ghana striker Abdul Majeed Waris returned to Franc e to join FC Nantes on a season long loan from Portuguese giants FC Porto. He joined Porto in the summer on a four year deal.

Black Stars defender John Boye also makes a return to France and joins FC Metz after ending his stay in Turkey with Sivasspor.

Reims forward Greyjohn Kyei moved to RC Lens on a season loan.

Ghana U-17 captain Eric Ayiah has joined French giants AS Monaco on a five year deal from Ghanaian lower division side Charity FC.

GERMANY

Ghana defender Kasim Nuhu made a dream move to Bundesliga side TSG Hoffeinhiem from Swiss Champions Young Boys on a four year deal.

Dutch born Ghanaian defender Derrick Luckassen moves to Hertha Berlin on a season loan from PSV Eindhoven.

Former Ghana U-20 winger David Atanga moved to Germany from Austria to join SpVgg Greuther Fürth on a season loan from Red Bull Salzburg.

Bernard Tekpetey has moved to Bundesliga side SC Paderborn 07 on a three year deal.

Australian born Ghanaian forward Kwame Yeboah completed a move from Borrusia Moncheglabach to Fortuna Köln on a three year deal.

German born Ghanaian Prince Osei Owusu joined Arminia Bielefeld from TSG Hoffeinheim II.

Ghanaian forward Issah Abass has completed a move to Germahn Bundesliga side FSV Mainz 05 on Transfer Deadline Day. Abass joins the on a five-year deal from Slovenian giants NK Olimpija.

Ghanaian defender Phil Ofosu-Ayeh, has joined German third-tier side FC Hansa Rostock on a season-long loan deal from English side Wolverhampton Wanderers on the summer transfer deadline day.

TURKEY

Deputy Black Stars captain Andre Ayew moved to Turkey to join giants Fenerbache on a season long loan from Swansea Sity.

Ghana midfielder Bernard Mensah switched to Kayserispor from Kasimpasa. He joins on a season long loan from Spanish giants Atletico Madrid.

Caleb Ekuban completed a loan move from English Championship side Leeds United to Turkish side Trabzonspor. The club has an option to make the deal permanent after the loan deal.

Former Black Stars forward Prince Tagoe signed a year deal with Turkish lower tier side Isparta Davraspor.

Jerry Akaminko has joined Turkish second-tier side Istanbulspor AS on Transfer Deadline Day. Akaminko penned a one-year deal with Yellow and Black lads after completing a medical on Friday afternoon.

BELGIUM  

Former Tema Youth forward Joseph Painstil has joined Belgian Pro League side KRC Genk on a four year deal.

Bernardinho Tetteh joined AS Verbroedering Geel on loan from Westerlo.

ALBANIA

Accra Hearts of Oak midfielder Winful Cobbina completed a move to Albania to join KF Tirana on a three year deal together with former teammate Vincent Atinga, who also signed a three year deal.

ARMENIA

Former Aduana Stars forward Nathaniel Asamoah joined Armenian side FC Benants on a two year deal.

Ghanaian youngster Nana Kwame Asare signed a three year deal with FC Lori from lower tier side Accra Young Wise.

BULGARIA

Derrick Mensah joined Dunav Ruse on a short term deal from NK Aluminij.

HUNGARY

Ghanaian defender Abraham Kwesi Frimpong completed a move from Serbian giants Red Star Belgrade t join Hungarian side Ferencvarosi.

SERBIA

Ghana defender Rashid Sumaila joined Red Star Belgrade on a season long loan from Kuwaiti side Al Qadsia.

Richmond Boakye-Yiadom makes a return to the Serbia, where he signed a two year deal with former side Red Star Belgrade. He joins just six months after signing for Chinese side Jiangsu Suning.

SWITZERLAND

WAFA defender Musah Nuhu joins Swiss side Saint Gallen on a season long loan.

Majeed Ashimeru also moved to Saint Gallen on a season long loan from Red Bull Salzburg.

Swiss- born Ghanaian defender Kwadwo Duah joins Servette FC from Swiss Champions Young Boys.

Benson Anang joined MSK Zilina on a four-year deal from Teshie New Life FC.

NORWAY

Ghanaian forward Ibrahim Arafat Mensah joined Norwegian top-flight side IK Start on a four year deal from Slovenian side club Aluminji.
